***Why are you on Social Media?

Social media has become the most powerful comminication tool of our time. I will not forgive myself if I'm still not informed with the volume of information available around me today.
I keep wondering why our parents are so knowledgeable even without access to the kind of information we have. Yet, their wealth of knowledge is incomparable.

There are hundreds of social media groups littered all over the place, some of which I'm a member and yet can't figure out what I'm learning from some, not all of them.

What exactly motivates you to join and remain in any group you find yourself? Please don't get me wrong. I'm not saying it's wrong to join any group but my question is, what value does it add to you each time a post is uploaded? What do you take away from each of the posts?

 No doubt, there are some that change the way you think right from the first day you were added. My point is, select the good ones and please let your voice be heard, for good and not otherwise. Spend your time on social media "LEARNING". I'm yet to see anyone who retrogresses after learning- except those who don't take actions afterwards.

Leverage the social media to develop yourself, learn and add value to your own life. Don't ever be too arrogant to learn regardless of the platform. Don't be like "what does she know?" You can't just tell how much information and knowledge this person has to share. If that's the case, some of us shouldn't be using Facebook because the inventor is way younger than us. He has created a platform for us to connect with the whole world and transform our lives. What then do you do with the tool right in your palms?

The good news is that these social media platforms are inventing better ways to help you build your brand and also grow your business. Leverage all of them and transform your own life.
